It took me forty-eight years to understand that the problem wasn't me.

What this book is about

How autistic burnout hides behind thirty years of wrong diagnoses. How high analytical intelligence can coexist with a complete shutdown in the face of other people's emotions. How the masking that kept you functional is consuming you from within.

Written for those who spent years convinced the problem was theirs, and are only now starting to doubt that conclusion.
